Utilize the local business center for Google. List your business and correct business information with google, yahoo, yellow pages, and many other sites that categorize and list businesses. The more sites that have your business listed, the higher your ranking will go. Having comments, video and pictures on your listings will also increase your ranking. Google now allows pictures and videos to be posted for your local business listing. Make sure your business is located for Google Maps, Map Quest, and Yahoo Maps
User content is also important. There are more materials coming from user-generated content such as blogs, social media, forums, YouTube and Flickr. Don’t miss out on the benefits to be had from these sources.
